@DBVarela I would suggest tapping the attribution link then asking tiastorm5690 on Instagram who took this photo last night
I could write an essay about all the reasons we love this queen. Suffice it to say unique, diverse and unexpected are where she lives and it's beautiful! Even when the dj has a hiccup

@EasterdayB @BabyBluesBBQ @WeHoCity Basic marketing says that in order to succeed, a business should laser focus on specific demographics that surround them - I'm not sure "openness" is a specific enough targetable demographic. What was Baby Blues BBQ's marketing plan for residents of WeHo & nightly visitors?
@EasterdayB @BabyBluesBBQ @WeHoCity True, but with a huge number of visitors coming in each night for clubbing, it's critical to give those people powerful reasons to STOP there, and when they do, reasons to come back. Laurel Hardware seems to succeed by very high volume.
@EasterdayB @BabyBluesBBQ @WeHoCity Hollywood makes sense. Flush with Venice success, Baby Blues BBQ struck me as wanting to be a Sunset Strip restaurant, but settled on a location on Santa Monica Blvd. Success for them required volume; harder to achieve at the Santa Monica Blvd location - gay is a HUGE demographic
@EasterdayB @BabyBluesBBQ @WeHoCity And perhaps some of the branding wasn't working too well for the gay Santa Monica Blvd customers?
@EasterdayB @BabyBluesBBQ @WeHoCity I wonder if their lack of connection to the LGBT community was a hindrance - they never engaged with us nor marketed to our community - few LGBT people even knew about the place - it takes high volume to succeed in a high rent area - they were very lucky to have a liquor license
@EasterdayB @BabyBluesBBQ @WeHoCity I did reread it - I'm trying to understand but I don't know what @WeHoCity failed to do and I'm curious.
@EasterdayB @BabyBluesBBQ @WeHoCity Or...the business failed
@mrburlesk Thx! But what do you propose? How do you make high-demand, low-supply, high-rise rents cost less?
@mrburlesk Fair enough. Maybe you should move to Palm Springs - then you could have it all.
